“The National Videogame Arcade is a wonderful space that’s perfect for the large-scale games and innovative projects they are always providing for their audience. The history of the video game industry is presented in a beautiful, visual way. The entire facility reflects the fun of video games so much that you might think you’re inside of one."   John Romero Patron, National Videogame Foundation, Co-creator, Doom

How can you help?

The National Videogame Foundation receives no core grant funding for its work and collections.

It relies entirely on the income from the activities it produces, its partnerships and the generosity of its members and friends.

By becoming our patron, you’ll be helping us:

  • develop the galleries
  • reach more people
  • maintain and preserve the collection
  • create new learning programmes
  • influence public policy
  • create new events
  • …and keep the National Videogame Foundation at the forefront of international videogame culture.

“Having been a regular attendee of the GameCity festival over the years, it was an easy decision to invest and become a patron of the new foundation. The festival is a phenomenally inclusive event, and brings creators from around the world together to showcase and experience pioneering cultural work. Vlambeer is excited to be part of the future of the event.” Rami Ismail, Patron, National Videogame Foundation Vlambeer
