The first ‘Continue’ conference, helping to bridge the gap between the videogame and culture sectors was held in May 2016. It was attended by representatives from V&A, BFI, BBC, Wellcome, British Library and many more. We are currently working with Arts Council England to help develop their videogame support policy and establish a new fund for videogame development.
international curatorial network
The NVA is at the heart of an international curatorial and preservation network, whose members include Stanford University, The Strong National Museum of Play, Ritsumeikan University, the Computerspielemuseum.
Delivered in partnership with Wellcome, The Collider programme brings together scientists, artists and videogame creators to hothouse new ideas and form new collaborative projects. This residential programme has taken place in a variety of locations including the renowned Sanger Institute.
